The primary goal of the WAU Rocketry Outreach Program is to introduce young students to the field of aerospace engineering, particularly rocketry, and to instill in them a sense of curiosity and passion for science and technology. By conducting workshops, presentations, and interactive activities, the program seeks to highlight the significance of rocketry in various fields, from telecommunications and weather monitoring to space exploration and defense.

Throughout the year, the WAU Rocketry team organizes workshops that provide hands-on experiences for participants. These workshops include rocket-building sessions, where students can learn about the science and engineering behind rockets, as well as practical demonstrations showcasing the principles of flight and propulsion. In addition to these, the outreach team also conducts educational talks and discussions, helping students understand the basics of aerodynamics, propulsion, and the challenges faced by aerospace engineers.
